UAV Pilot Ground School is compliant with Transport Canada’s requirements for Pilots of Small UAV Systems.
Course covers foundation knowledge such as: Air Law, Navigation, Meteorology, UAV Systems, Flight Operations and Radiotelephony.
In addition, the course employs a practical approach of UAV operations by introducing students to real flight scenarios such as Filmmaking, Search and Rescue as well as Inspections and Mapping.
Critical UAV Pilot Skills covered include: Regulation and Compliance, Flight Planning, Standard Operating Procedures, Risk and Crisis Management, Equipment Maintenance and Post Flight Records.
5 Online Live Sessions. Total 22 Hours.

The entirely course is delivered ONLINE with both Self-Learning and Live Session components.
Self-Learning is a mixture of multi-media material guided by quiz and practice and delivered through Learning Management System.
Minimum 20 Instruction Hours are required to qualify for Transport Canada Compliant Operator Status.
ALL ABOUT EXAMS
No UAV equipment is required for this course. Computer equipment with high-speed internet access able to stream live video sessions are required.
